Class / Camp Description
A Midsummer Night’s Dream Ballet Summer Camp Workshop is for dedicated teens in Memphis, Germantown, Cordova, Collierville and beyond! We welcome all area teen ballet dancers with intermediate/advanced ballet technique. Our intensive will weave the essence of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with the beautiful Titania and the mischievous Puck in the choreography part of each class day. Dancers will have daily French and Russian style ballet training to refine their classical foundation focusing on strength and precision, and large jumps in allegro, multiple turns, and pointe work. Adding to the experience, dancers will have contemporary dance technique class and coaching in a choreography section such as Clara or the Sugar Plum Fairy from our “Clara & the Nutcracker” at the Cannon Center to prepare for upcoming auditions. All choreography taught during the workshop will be featured in a final studio performance for parents Friday at 1pm, showcasing the participants' hard work and newfound skills. Students will learn from experienced and passionate Children’s Ballet Theater instructors dedicated to nurturing their talent and pushing their artistic boundaries within a collaborative environment, fostering camaraderie and mutual inspiration.

Cancellation Policy
75% refund is given if a student withdraws within 24 hours prior to a second class during the Spring and Fall Semester. No refunds will be given after the second class except in the case of a physician-verified illness. No refunds are given for COVID closure. In the event of COVID closure we offer excellent online class or camp. No refunds for Summer camps / classes unless requested three weeks prior to the camp / class start date. At that time a 75% refund will be granted. There is no pro-rating and no makeup classes. Tuition is not transferable to another session. Students cannot attend class until full payment is made. There is a $30 fee for cancelled checks. CBT reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather conditions or teacher illness. In the event of a weather condition, you will receive an email. Please check your email. There are no makeup classes for inclement weather conditions.
